Description

What: Heat index values up to 102 expected Thursday with limited overnight cooling.
Where: Portions of east central Ohio, southwest and western Pennsylvania, and northern and the northern panhandle of West Virginia.
When: Until 8 PM EDT Thursday.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Recommended Action

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
