Description

What: Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected.
Where: Fort Peck Lake.
When: From 6 AM this morning to 2 PM MDT this afternoon.
Impacts: Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft.
Additional Details: The strongest winds will be over the eastern half of the lake. Wave up to 4 feet are expected.

Recommended Action

Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong winds and rough waves can overturn small craft.
