Additional Details: - At 1125 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Warren, Livonia, Troy, Southfield, St. Clair Shores, Pontiac, Novi, Milford, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, Detroit, Sterling Heights, Dearborn, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Northville, Clinton Township, Detroit Zoo, West Bloomfield and Belle Isle. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
