Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in WisconsinMichigan Menominee River near Florence affecting Florence, Dickinson and Iron Counties. Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Marinette, Dickinson and Menominee Counties.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in WisconsinMichigan Menominee River near Niagara affecting Florence, Dickinson, Marinette and Menominee Counties. Menominee River near McAllister affecting Marinette and Menominee Counties. For the Menominee Riverincluding Florence, Vulcan, Niagara, McAllisterMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Menominee River near McAllister.
When: Until further notice.
Impacts: At 18.0 feet, Floodwaters are covering River Drive and Shore Drive west of Wallace in Menominee County, Michigan and South Park Road east of Porterfield in Marinette County. This stage compares to a flow of 24240 cubic feet per second at White Rapids Dam.
Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 18.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall to 15.6 feet Tuesday, April 28. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
