Recommended Action

Description

What: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills ranging from 13 to 26 degrees expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills ranging from 0 to 10 possible.
Where: Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.
When: For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Saturday to noon CST Sunday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Sunday evening through Monday morning.
Impacts: Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
