A major winter storm is forecast.

What:
A total accumulation of 20 to 40 centimetres of snow over a 24-hour period.
Strong winds reaching between 60 and 70 kilometres per hour.
Blowing snow conditions resulting in greatly reduced visibilities.

When: Wednesday to Thursday

Where: Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Charlevoix, Montmagny, North Shore, Lower St. Lawrence and Gaspé Peninsula.

Additional information:
Travel will be difficult in snow and blowing snow. There will likely be delays and cancellations in transport. Road closures are possible.

Consider delaying or cancelling any non-essential travel.
