Yellow Warning - Snowfall
Significant amounts of snowfall and ice pellets are expected.
Locations: the Great Northern Peninsula.
Total snowfall: 15 to 20 cm.
Time span: Wednesday morning until overnight Wednesday night.
Remarks: Gusty winds accompanying the snow will cause reduced visibility at times in blowing snow. Precipitation is expected to begin as snow, with significant accumulations possible, before mixing with ice pellets Wednesday evening. Precipitation may change to freezing rain later in the overnight hours for northernmost parts of the peninsula.
