Description

Snow, blowing snow, and strong winds are expected.

Locations: Cartwright to Black Tickle and the Trans-Labrador Highway from Crooks Lake to Cartwright Junction.

Total snowfall: 10 to 20 cm.

Maximum wind gusts: northerly 80 km/h, except 110 in the Black Tickle area.

Time span: Monday morning until Monday night.

Remarks: Strong winds accompanying the snow will reduce visibility in blowing snow. The strongest winds are expected later Monday afternoon and Monday night.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
