Remarks:
Heavy rain will continue this evening as a frontal system tracks southwards across Vancouver Island. Rainfall amounts of 100 mm are expected with potentially higher amounts over northern sections near Zeballos. The heavy rain will ease this evening as the front exits the region. However, moderate showers following the front may produce additional local rainfall of 10-15 mm overnight.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Local utility outages are possible.
