Freezing rain is expected.

When:
Freezing rain is expected to start early Friday morning and taper off late in the day.

Where:
- B.C. Peace River District

Additional information:
A warm front will push through the region beginning early Friday morning which will lead to periods of freezing rain and the potential for some ice accretion. The freezing rain may be at times mixed with snow and will taper off late Friday afternoon or Friday evening.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Icy surfaces could be difficult to detect.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
