The mini-twister potentially reached up to 70 km/h

A shocking water-devil seen in the video above was captured spinning over a lake in eastern Ontario during the May long weekend.

Meteorologist Tyler Hamilton explains that this water-devil likely formed over warm land, which would allow for an air parcel to rise and begin spinning if the winds blow in a specific direction.

The mini-twister is seen wildly spinning, and it potentially reached between 60 to 70 km/h.
