VIDEO: What did this snowy owl eat? Our reporter finds out
Weather Network reporter Kyle Brittain encountered a beautiful snowy owl northeast of Calgary, Alta. recently. While that appearance wasn't out of the ordinary, what he saw fly out of his mouth may have been to the untrained eye.
The animal was captured on video regurgitating a tube-shaped object. Interestingly enough, this wasn't the first time Brittain came across an owl that had regorged something it ate.
Brittain also consulted a wildlife biologist to dig deeper on what the consumed object was made of.
