Ontario tornado warnings expired after severe storms

Severe thunderstorms prompted a tornado warning in Ontario on Wednesday afternoon.

7:27 p.m. EDT - Severe thunderstorms prompted numerous tornado warnings in eastern Ontario early Wednesday evening. All warnings were allowed to expire once the storms moved out of the region.

EXPIRED TORNADO WARNINGS (ONTARIO):

  • Merrickville-Wolford - Kemptville

  • Ottawa South - Richmond - Metcalfe

  • Winchester - Newington

  • Morrisburg - Long Sault

  • Maxville - Alexandria

  • Cornwall - Lancaster
