Ancaster, Ontario is nestled within the Niagara escarpment and full of wooded areas.
In many neighbourhoods it isn't uncommon to see deer, raccoons, or birds wander onto private property.

Now that spring is here, animals are out and about and many have babies in tow.
Check out the adorable scene in the video at the top. It was captured on May 9 by Weather Network viewer Elena Ostapenko and features four baby foxes playing in a backyard while their mama relaxes nearby.
ALSO IN ANIMALS:
Foxes typically breed near the end of December and their pups are born between March and May.
Young foxes begin to play outside when they're about a month old, and start to venture out on their own once they've reached three months.
