So far each region of Canada has faced their own battle with extreme winter weather - from blizzards in Atlantic Canada to unprecedented snowfalls in the temperature South Coast of British Columbia - the wintry weather has been tough for many.

It is always safest to stay home with emergency supplies during extreme weather, but a few brave individuals embarked in difficult weather to continue their day business as usual.

Everyone has a shocking tale of seeing someone ski to Tim Hortons or ramon noodles freezing in the air, but these stories can sometimes sound too far-fetched to be possible. Other times, they are captured in photographs, and will live on forever.
