How to properly remove and dispose latex gloves

Here's how to remove and dispose your gloves the safe way.

Wearing latex gloves in public is becoming commonplace as COVID-19 spreads across Canada -- but there's no research proving that wearing gloves is safer than not wearing them.

One of the reasons is because gloves may give people a false sense of security.

If you touch your face with a gloved hand, you could still release the virus into your system. Washing your hands regularly is the best protective measure.

Discarded gloves are becoming a major problem for Canadian retailers, with reports of consumers leaving them in shopping carts and in parking lots, exposing staff to used, and potentially contaminated, gloves.

Litter aside, most people don't know how to properly remove disposable gloves.
