TUESDAY
Similar to Monday, and the morning ride temperatures are now in the low-teens
A little upper level ridge sets up show across the GTA, so prepare for mostly sunny conditions through the majority of a day, with a very slight risk of a pop-up shower by evening
Light southwest wind 15-30 km/h for most of the GTA, with temperatures near 20°C the Lakeshore with perhaps a couple 23°Cs and 24°Cs thrown in, inland.
WEDNESDAY
A weather transition day, as an upper disturbance approaches from the southwest with an east wind developing, keeping temperatures near 20°C or a tick below along the lakeshore
Increasing clouds throughout the afternoon, but showers set to hold off until later Wednesday evening
THURSDAY
Perhaps the worst riding day of the week, with a period of wet weather through the first half of the day, becoming scattered into the afternoon - looks like the water-proof gear is a necessary item
Mostly cloud conditions, winds gusting up to 40 km/h out of the southwest along the front
Temperatures may struggle to get much above 20°C with cloud cover and rainfall potential
There’s even the possibility to see a round of thunderstorms throughout the day
FRIDAY
We’ll call this an improvement over Thursday, that looks to be a given with variable skies
Still a lingering threat of showers, but nothing particularly sustained, with a light lake breeze developing at 10-20 km/h
This is the only day that has potential to feel a touch muggy, into the upper 20’s with the humidex
With increased moisture comes the risk of a pop-up thunderstorm on Friday
RIDE OF THE WEEK: WARDEN AVE.
If you’re not a fan of stop lights, this might be your ride, a direct express out of the G.T.A., with very few interruptions and very little in the way of potential navigation gaffes
Either leave from Victoria Square or further south if you want to beef up the distance, but the full, round trip up Warden to Lake Simcoe is around 90 km
