To get answers as to why some Ontario beaches have soft sand while others a little more rocky, reporter Victoria Fenn Alvarado caught up with professor John Johnston, an instructor and geologist at the University of Waterloo, to find out how environmental and human impacts help to break down materials which form into sand.
