Wide swath of snow across the Prairies as seen from space

The latest potent fall storm that closed out the month of September across the Prairies will definitely be one that's talked about for years to come. That's as daily snowfall records were smashed amid days of severe winter weather and as extreme southern regions of Alberta were left digging out of nearly 100 centimetres of snow.

Now, as the snow tapers and the skies finally clear, we're getting the first glimpse of this epic snowpack as seen from space.
