Flood concerns rise for New Brunswick, here's how you can prepare

Flood season is a time to remain diligent and plan ahead.

New Brunswick officials say the snowpack in northwestern portions of the province is about 99 per cent of what's considered to be normal, when compared to data collected over the past two decades.

Just how fast that snow melts is something people living along the Saint John River monitor every spring, and New Brunswick's river watch program is up and running and producing river level forecasts that can be accessed online by residents.
