Dogs sweat in the summer, too, but will a haircut cool them off?

Tuesday, June 1st 2021, 9:46 am - While people can remove layers during the sizzling summer heat, dogs have to endure the warmth and sweat it out -- unless they are given a haircut. But is shaving them a viable option to keep them cool?

Nathan Coleman, a reporter at The Weather Network, recently spoke to Lisa Parsons, manager of the Pampered Paws Inn, about whether shaving a dog will actually work.

Watch the video above to get the full story from The Weather Network reporter Nathan Coleman and for tips on how to really keep your dog cool during warmer months.
