Candid Closeup: A look at life in the Annapolis Valley

Tuesday, November 9th 2021, 12:15 pm - Candid Closeup is a weekly segment that features Canadians from coast to coast who love to share their weather. In this episode, The Weather Network's Kim MacDonald had the opportunity to speak with Mark Davidson of Port Williams, Nova Scotia about life in the Annapolis Valley.

The Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia is renowned for its beauty. The ocean, hiking trails, and orchards would inspire anyone who took the time to appreciate all it has to offer. Mark Davidson is someone who has done just that. After spending 31 years as an auditor at a tire factory, the Port Williams resident now spends his time hiking and photographing nature as often as he can.

In this episode of Candid Closeup, we learn that appreciating his surroundings has turned this photographer unwittingly into a poet.
