Candid Closeup: The endless colours of the Canadian sunrise

Candid Closeup is a weekly segment that features Canadians from coast to coast who love to share their weather. In this episode, The Weather Network's Kim MacDonald had the opportunity to speak with Wanda Boutilier of Mushaboom, Nova Scotia.

In a tiny community, on the shores of Nova Scotia, Wanda Boutilier spends the lobster season getting up before dawn to see her husband, Kenny off to work.

That gives her the opportunity to watch the sunrise with a perfect view of the ocean from her front window.

In this edition of Candid Closeup, Wanda talks with Kim MacDonald about her fascination with storms, the time Hurricane Dorian knocked on her door, and how one inspiring photo taken after a tragedy put her in the spotlight.
