Falcon Lake (Toniata Beach) Short Term Forecast

Beach Conditions

Reputedly named for the Metis poet/songwriter Pierre Falcon (1793-1876) Falcon Lake is known for clear deep water and access to an excellent self-guided interpretive trail along Falcon Creek. Other multi-use trails wind through the parks and are frequented by runners cyclists hikers and cross country skiers. The adjacent town offers recreational activities ranging from golf to horseback riding to lawn bowling. On north side of the lake Toniata Beach campground of Whiteshell Provincial Park features 35 electrically serviced seasonal campsites parking shower facilities modern bathrooms and is wheelchair accessible. The beach is unsupervised and features a boat dock launch picnic areas picnic shelters and water and bathrooms. The flat beach is not shaded though shade boardwalks and green spaces surround the sandy area.
