WATER QUALITY HISTORY:This beach was last sampled in September 2013 and was sampled every second week during the 2013 summer.The last time this beach was monitored was in summer of 2004. While it may be safe to swim please check with your local authorities or watch for posted signs.BEACH INFO:Shelter Point Regional Park is located south of Gillies Bay (west side of Texada Island). AMENITIES:This park has many facilities available: washrooms with hot showers picnic area parking volleyball and campsites. There are a forest a sandy beach and a rocky promontory accessible at low tide. It is good for fishing and clamming as well.
