Seton Lake is a freshwater fjord draining east by way of the Seton River into the Fraser near Lilloet. Though the lake is natural part of it is owned by BC Hydro's Bridge River complex and is raised as a reservoir.There are campgrounds picnic areas boating canoeing hiking and fishing offered in the area. According to Sharphooks.com in the late 1800s Caoyoosh Creek attracted hundreds of gold prospectors there is still a Chinese bake oven in the campground area as a reminder.This beach is not monitored nor do we have any data on it. While it may be safe to swim please check with your local authorities or watch for posted signs.
