Nazko Lake in the Cariboo is a wilderness park near Loomis and Deerpelt Lakes. Hunting is not permitted between July 1 and August 31 and all hunters must have a license and observe the BC regulations. You must take all your garbage with you and not let it sit out (it attracts bears and other animals).This park features canoeing fishing camping and wildlife viewing though to access the canoe chain it is recommended that you park at Deerpelt Lake nearby. Lake-goers may be able to view the endangered species the white pelican which winters in the Chilcotin's Stum Lake and whose nesting grounds are protected at Stum Lake.This beach is not monitored nor do we have any data on it. While it may be safe to swim please check with your local authorities or watch for posted signs.
