Beach Conditions
North Beach is part of Naikoon Provincial Park and is easily accessible by car or foot by taking Highway 16 from Masset which then turns into Tow Hill Road. A popular clam-digging crabbing beachcombing ATVing and hiking area the beach is wide sandy and offers beautiful ocean views large amounts of driftwood storm watching (in the off-season). The beaches have hard-packed wet sand and some pebbles. In Haida tradition North Beach is the site of creation where a raven first brought people into this world by coaxing them out of a clam shell.
