Beach Conditions

This park is an unspoiled wilderness area and needs your help in protecting it if you visit. The Ministry of Environment cautions visitors to be well-prepared when visiting the park as summer is short snow can linger year-round bears abound and visitors must be on their own in this isolated area. BC Parks warns that currently Highway 37 north is CLOSED due to washouts between Bob Quinn Lake and Bell II Lodge. Visitors should check highway conditions prior to travelling north. Current highway conditions can be found at the Drive BC website at www.drivebc.ca.Mount Edziza reaches 2 797m and is a composite volcano with a glaciated carter nearly 2 500m in diameter. The last basalt flow occurred 10 000 years ago.
