Miracle Beach Provincial Park is located midway between Courtenay and Campbell River. The beach itself is long and sandy eventually connecting to Sartaoga beach. Perfect for wading swimming and checking out the multitude of marine life that can be seen it Miracle Beachs tidal pools. The water however can be rocky and contains barnacles so water footwear is recommended.Miracle Beach Park has 201 large private camping units and is open for camping all year round. It also offers showers flush and pit toilets a sani-station an adventure playground access for the disabled and Visitor Centre and Nature House which displays large saltwater aquariums.For day use Miracle Beach has two picnic areas. The main picnic area has a gas barbeque flush toilets and picnic tables. The second picnic area is located by the northern parking lot as is the entrance to the Black Creek Estuary Trail. Miracle Beach Park has over 2km of hiking trails. The majority of the trails at Miracle Beach Park are well maintained and wheelchair accessible.Near the BC Parks office Miracle Beach offers a viewing platform where visitors can check out Spring and Fall spawning salmon runs.This beach is one of those beaches that will be measured 'as needed' by the Vancouver Island Health Authority. This means that the Vancouver Island Health Authority may keep the beaches open to swimmers despite the potential dangers to swimmers. Fraser Riverkeepers will always mark this beach with a grey rating (unless they begin to monitor the beach more frequently) to warn swimmers of potential dangers. When swimming in these waters always exercise caution.
