Garner Lake Provincial Park Beach, AB
Garner Lake Provincial Park Beach Short Term Forecast
Garner Lake is named after an area farmer from the early 1900's. This is a sandy beach with shallow waters that are quite clear most of the season. The swimming area is marked and there is aboat launch and dock nearby. Like a lot of lakes in this area water levels have come down over the last two decades but were up for 2011. This beach is part of a campground with all of the day use amenities required. The beach is large enough for volley ball courts and sand castles. This is a popular beach and campground over the Summer months. The beach and lake were open the whole of the bathing seasons for 2011 and 2012. Historically good water quality testing results. This is a hidden gem.
