Franchere Bay Provincial Recreation Area on Moose Lake Short Term Forecast
The beach at Franchere Bay PRA is wide and sandy and has shallow waters fed by the nearby Thinlake River. The beach and PRA have all of the usual amenities for day use activities and are situated in a unique Jackpine forest preserve. The water is clear and inviting in the marked swimming area and there is a small playground and dock. Easy access from the adjacent parking lot. The beach was open for the whole of the 2011 and 2013 bathing season.
