Heat Warning

Temperatures reaching 38 degrees Celsius combined with overnight lows near 18 degrees Celsius will continue for the next 2 days.

A period of extreme heat continues for portions of southern Saskatchewan.

Daytime high temperatures today will be in the mid to high 30s, with areas near the international border approaching 40 degrees Celsius. Temperatures will remain in the mid to high teens tonight.

A weak cold front will pass through the region early Wednesday morning, bringing daytime highs back down to the high 20s or to the 30 degree mark by Wednesday afternoon.


Extreme heat affects everyone.

The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
