Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring over some areas.
The combination of clear skies, light winds and melting snow create ideal conditions for fog development.
As a result, widespread reduced visibilities continue to be reported over a number of locations in the southern prairies this morning. Most regions will see visibilities improve later this morning. However, some may see the fog linger into the early afternoon.
Widespread fog is not expected again Friday night due to strengthening southerly winds across the eastern prairies.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
