Special Air Quality Statement

Issued at 04:24 Thursday 05 August 2021

Smoke from forest fires in BC and the Prairies continue to give poor air quality at times to portions of Saskatchewan.

Conditions should improve somewhat over southern regions tonight or Friday morning as a southerly flow pushes the smoke back towards the north.

However, more smoke and haze originating from the BC fires may start advancing into southwestern Saskatchewan on Friday.
