This emergency advisory alert is being issued for the province of Saskatchewan. All travelers returning from outside of Canada are subject to a mandatory 14 day self isolation order. Violation of the order may result in a fine of 2000 dollars.

The first warm spell of the season will continue today for several regions in Saskatchewan.

Once again, daytime high temperatures over parts of southern Saskatchewan will be hovering near the 30 degree mark. This afternoon, a cold front will track across the province generating widespread showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening before exiting into Manitoba. In the wake of the cold front, cooler temperatures are in store for Wednesday.

Heat warning criteria is not expected to be met with these temperatures but nevertheless this will be the first warm spell of the season.
