Update for the Civil Emergency Alert issued by the Government of Saskatchewan. The state of emergency in Saskatchewan remains in effect. UPDATE: Under Phase 2 of Re-Open Saskatchewan overnight camping for Saskatchewan residents in Provincial Parks is permitted effective June 1, 2020. Public and private gatherings, inside and outside, are limited to more no more than 10 people and physical distancing by at least two metres from others is to be applied. All Public Health Orders continue to apply during the implementation of Phase 2 Re-Open Saskatchewan. Testing is available to anyone working outside the home, who desires a test. Together, we are reducing the risk. We can pull together by staying apart.

Wind Warning

A low pressure system from Montana will bring gusty winds to southeastern Saskatchewan tonight. Southeasterly gusts of 90 to 100 km/h are expected. This will be thunderstorm activity tonight as well with a risk of severe thunderstorms.


Gusty winds can damage soft shelters, tents and awnings at outdoor events. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
