Rain throughout the weekend
The remnants of tropical storm Fay will affect the province of Quebec today and Sunday. Rain associated with this system could produce rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 millimetres over parts of Southern and Central Quebec. Some of these areas could however receive a total of more than 50 millimetres locally with the additional rainfall amounts produced by thunderstorms that could accompany this system this afternoon and evening.
