A warm and humid air mass will settle over Southern Quebec Thursday. The combined values of temperature and humidity will give humidex values that will reach 40. It is expected to taper off in the evening with the onset of precipitation.
Extreme heat affects everyone.
Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
