Freezing rain possible tonight.
Rain will move over the highway 7 corridor late this afternoon and spread northward towards Georgian Bay during the evening hours. Over higher elevations, primarily north of a line from Mitchell to St. Jacobs to Guelph, this rain may change to a period of freezing rain this evening. The precipitation is then likely to change to snow tonight or early Saturday morning.
It is possible that freezing rain may persist into Saturday morning over the highest elevations of the Dundalk Highlands where ice accretion up to 5 mm could occur.
Freezing rain warnings may be required as details become more certain.
