Ontario buried under epic snow totals as lake-effect setup takes over
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Snow, at times heavy, with local snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm.
Local blowing snow which could significantly reduce visibilities due to northwesterly winds gusting up to 60 km/h.
Now through Tuesday morning.
Lake effect snow squalls have developed off of Georgian Bay and will continue through Tuesday morning.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
