
Dangerous blizzard-like conditions threaten Newfoundland, 30+ cm possible
Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for this morning.
The Snow Squall Warning for southern Huron country has been converted to a Winter Weather Travel Advisory
Lake effect snow squalls are moving over the area this morning. A snowfall total near 5 cm is expected to fall before the the squalls end near noon. Visibilities will be significantly reduced at times due to heavy snow and local blowing snow, making travel difficult.
There may be significant impact on rush hour traffic this morning. Motorists are advised to exercise caution or consider delaying travel.
