Lake effect snow squalls continuing through this afternoon.

Hazards:
Heavy snowfall with local additional accumulations of 15 to 25 cm likely.
Very poor visibility in bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow.

Timing:
Continuing through this afternoon.

Discussion:
Lake effect snow squalls off Lake Superior will continue through this afternoon. The highest snowfall amounts are most likely to occur south of Wawa.

The snow squalls will taper off to flurries later this afternoon.

Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Road closures are possible.
