Significant rainfall expected Saturday.
The rain will begin early Saturday morning with total rainfall amounts of 20 to 30 mm likely by late Saturday evening. The rain may become mixed with snow later Saturday evening before it tapers off overnight.
This rainfall is associated with a strengthening east coast storm that will track through New York into Quebec on Saturday.
Note that Environment and Climate Change Canada uses a rainfall warning criteria of 25 mm or more in 24 hours or less when the ground is frozen and has a reduced ability to absorb rainfall.

Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
