Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Snow, heavy at times, with snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm locally.
Winds gusting up to 50 km/h which will significantly reduce visibilities in local blowing snow.
Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will impact regions east of Meaford and west of Horseshoe Valley today.
Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
