Fire ignited on ship amid powerful storm off B.C. coast, crew removed
Rain, at times heavy, tonight through Monday.
Total rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 mm are possible by Monday evening. Rain will continue this evening becoming heavier tonight and tapering to showers Monday afternoon.
This rainfall is due to a low pressure system that is forecast to track northeast across southern Ontario on Monday.
When safe to do so, ensure storm drains are clear of leaves and debris to minimize flooding.
For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry District office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
