Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts.
Hazards... Isolated wind gusts of 90 km/h and nickel size hail
Timing... Into the early evening
Summary... Scattered thunderstorms will continue to affect the watch area into the early evening. A few wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h have been observed with these storms. The primary threat from stronger cells will continue to be locally severe wind gusts. Isolated nickel size hail is also possible.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles.
