Winter weather travel advisory in effect Monday afternoon and evening.
Snow, heavy at times. Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm by Monday evening. Peak snowfall rates of 1 to 2 cm per hour and significantly reduced visibility under heavy snow.
Monday afternoon and evening, especially during the early evening commute hours.
An Alberta Clipper will impact the region on Monday afternoon with snow which may be heavy at times enhanced by Lake Ontario. Snow is expected to taper off overnight.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
