B.C.: Active storm track is great news for ski season
Snow expected for Wednesday.
Total snowfall: generally 5 to 10 cm, up to 15 over higher terrain.
Location: Nova Scotia.
Time span: overnight tonight and through the day Wednesday.
Remarks: Periods of rain tonight will change over to snow overnight in western Nova Scotia. In the Halifax Metro area and regions further east this changeover will happen on Wednesday morning. Commuters should exercise caution as this could impact morning rush hour.
Snow will continue through the day Wednesday, then will taper to flurries on Wednesday evening. Accumulations are expected to approach warning criteria in some areas, in which case warnings will be issued as new information becomes available.
