Smoke from distant forest fires will cause a reduction to air quality.

Locations: most of Nova Scotia.

Time span: Until Wednesday evening.

Remarks: Smoke from forest fires in western Canada has spread over Nova Scotia. While most of the smoke will remain aloft, some has descended to near ground level causing reduced air quality. The associated haze is giving the sun a reddish appearance.
